The name of the location that I am visiting is James Bay. It is is Canada. The capital of Canada is Ottawa. United States and Greenland are the countries that border Canada. 4 oceans border Canada (Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, and Arctic Ocean). It looks like a magnifying glass with bright blue water. The bay first became because Henry Hudson, a European in 1610, entered it while he was exploring the larger bay that bears his name. James Bay got is name in honor of Thomas James, an English captain who explored the area more thoroughly in 1630-1631. James Bay is important in the history of Canada. It is one of the most hospitable of the Hudson Bay region and as a result of the importance to the Hudson's Bay Company and British expansion into Canada. Canada is very snowy but is returning to spring. The climate there is probably rainy or sunny sometimes. The grid coordinates of James Bay are 53˚41' 48" N 80˚35' 04" W.
